Duties & Responsibilities: 1、Apply knowledge of MRP processes/parameters experience with planning of materials to ensure customer expectations are met and drive results through people and systems optimization. 2、Understand technical specifications, products performance requirements, manufacturing processes, and end user expectations and achieve continuous improvement by analyzing a product\'s value stream activity relative to parameters and optimize throughput, flexibility, on-time delivery 3、Locate, evaluate, negotiate, and select suppliers to achieve established cost, working capital and supplier quality objectives. Execute, manage and administer supply agreements and purchase orders from award to completion. 4、Coordinate with cross-functional teams and influence multiple functional departments including: Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and other supply chain members on meeting order commitment and ensure >95% fulfillment. 5、Develop commodity strategies with emphasis on Low Cost Country sourcing. Implement formal request for proposal (RFP) and Request for Quote (RFQ) processes to assess and evaluate sourcing alternatives 6、Negotiate best in class price, payment, quality and delivery terms to achieve cost reduction and working capital objectives. Coordinate and support on-site supplier assessment/certification audits and continuous improvement activities that drive down total cost and increase total supplier quality 7、Develop risk mitigation strategies for key commodities. Reduce the number of suppliers while developing a preferred supply base to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership. Manage the technical transfer to Contract Manufacturing Suppliers Support engineering and product management with new product launches. Requirements: Bachelor degree holder, MBA is preferred. Excellent knowledge of production and manufacturing environment in a fast pace, low volume high mix situation. Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills. Be able to interact with Global teams (Purchasing, Planning, Operations). Interactions frequently involves special skills, such as negotiating with internal and external customers or management on matters of significance to the organization, example: Build and shipment delays, re-scheduling which involves air freighting, change of manufacturing plans, etc.
