1.?????Managing???projects?in?the?field?of?New?Product?Introduction?and?transfer?projects???(relocation?of?production)?at?product?/system?level.?Coordinates?all???activities?within?the?VDL?team?and?provides?technical?expertise?to?ensure???that?the?product?meet?the?customer?and?company?requirements.????????2.???????Leading???and?close?work?with?customer,?VDL?engineering,?supplier?chain?on?product???industrialization?process?to?improve?the?product?manufacturability?in?design???/NPI?stage.?If?necessary,?manage?and?perform?the?`design?release?reviews`?at???certain?stages,?in?cooperation?with?the?VDL?R&Ds.???????3.?????In?quotation?phase,?close?work?with?PMs?to???finish?the?quotation?on?time.?Focus?on?leading?the?product?technical?feasibility???study?and?prepare?necessary?information?to?support?quotation?process,?such?as???BOM?preparation,?technical?gaps?on?customer?specs,?drawings?etc.????????4.???????In???NPI?phase:???????a)????????Understand???customer?product,?including?product?spec,?quality?requirements?/?test???requirements,?trouble?shooting?etc.?Solo?responsible?to?transfer?the?product???manufacture?technology.???b)????????If???necessary,?lead?and?manage?the?customer?negotiations?regarding?the???specifications?of?the?products?to?be?transferred?or?designed?and?define?the???process?flow,?facility?requirements,?line?layout?etc.?based?on?the?customer???requirements.???c)????????Prepare???and?maintain?the?technical?documentation?regarding?the?products,?including???system?BOM,?standard?work?instructions,?tooling?&?fixtures,?facility?and???layout,?cleaning?and?packing?etc.???d)????????Close???work?with?quality?engineer?to?define?product?CTQs?(critical?to?quality),?both???in-house?process,?out?sourced?process?and?materials.???e)????????Leading???the?technical?and?manufacture?capability?handover?by?coach?new?product???engineer?in?terms?of?product?function,?process,?standard,?etc.?Share?lessons???learn,?engineering?handbook?training,?experience?and?best?practice?sharing???forum,?etc.???????5.??????If?necessary,?leading?the?company?given???projects?such?like?ECOs,?CIP,?Cost?reduction?,?green?belt,?six?sigma?program???etc.???6.??????Free?to?travel?according?to?the?project???plan,?both?domestic?and?oversea.
